Letter 80

Cedar city swagger, this week was another good one. Same ol stuff pretty much. This week was a week full of exchanges. Tuesday I was on exchange with a Mexican Elder Muro. He is awesome. We went and taught a RC. Had a really good lesson with him. He is struggling paying the bills and feels like he is has failed his family. So I just started telling him everything he has taught me and how good of a father he is and he started crying really hard, it was good tears though. After that we went over to the Klarins crib, we ate some good food and their little daughter's are way cute, they were all over my grill though, but it was cool just reminded me of all my lil punks back at home. But that was our day then, and after that Wed we were suppose to go on exchange with our new mish president and instead Jones and Nelson came along. It was fun stuff. We took them over and met Diana, she hooked us up with some food then we all taught her about the holy ghost. Then we went on splits and E cowboy Nelson came along with me and we had some fun, we went and taught a couple less actives and then we all 4 met back up and ate some way good Brazilian pancakes at the Jenks place. They are a awesome family. He is the clamor. But then we ended the night talking hunting of course and that was all she wrote for that. Then Thursday I went on exchange with Pelsue for his Year mark, we were poppin bottles!! Were brought him a little bubbly to the church of sparkling cider. ha that's about as crazy it gets in the Jesus world! But it went good we went and taught a few lesson then went over to England with coral and her awesome fam and burnt his shirt and ate chines food. Then Friday we were teaching all morning and then Friday night we threw a BBQ at the church and it was a good turn out. I got my winger cooking skills back on. I havent heard about anybody getting the shats soooo turned out good! :) BUT it was fun,I kinda jacked up my lower back being the winner in a one on one game with pelsue so Saturday I went and got myself a nice back rub by a member who works in a chiropractor office. She did great, I'm all fresh now! But Saturday there was a member from our church that passed away, and some members from Irvington came too it so it was awesome to see them all. Then we ended Saturday going and seeing Diana and after we taught her I tried my best to mow her lawn before it got dark but I just let Jesus take the wheel even after it was dark and today were gonna go fix the spots i missed haha. whooops! And i was in my Jesus cloths just to let you know. But Sunday I confirmed Diana and that went great then we were all over having dinner and teaching people and then today we got some stuff from a member and we went crabbing. It was sweet I got 1 with the net we had. It was having happy time with a female crab if you know what I'm sayin!!! haha yeeeehaaw! But that was it last week! love you guys! Congrats sissy on the Temple! Git r done!

Letter 79

What up!!

This week was a crazy one! Monday we held an English class with the teacher's E ginger And E Korean Nilssen. ha We taught our investigators Gustavo and Areunda, they are so cool. Then Tuesday was a donkey show and a half, it was zone meetings and me and nilssen were running alllll over the place to get everything ready. It went good though everybody had fun. And we even flipped over some tables and chairs! That's how we do things round here! After our meeting we went to a diner and wrecked some food. Then we went and taught a less active named paul. He is a cool guy. He is 54 but looks like he is 30, boy is in shape! But we had a good lesson with him. He wants the priesthood so were gonna work on that with him. Then we went and saw Diana to end the night. Brother Connor came with us and she hooked us up with some ice cream to start of the lesson which was fine by us. ha We taught her the Word of Wisdom and I was peein my pants a little cause I wasn't sure how she would take it but it went good.! Wed we were busy allll day! We had another lesson with Diana to make sure she makes her baptism date for sunday. After that lesson we went and taught my boy Ray and his brother about the gospel. We played some games with them to help them understand it. Ray is 9 years old and I have never met a kid that can pray like him. Then we saw a RC and then taught our investigator JL, and in this lesson was the hardest  I have every laughed in a lesson. I will tell you this story when I am home! I'll just say somebody farted in the lesson. haha it wasn't me just fyi. But then we went and ate dinner with the Jenk family and ate a bunch of chinies food, then we ended that day with a lesson with Jonathan. we taught 6 people that day! gingy was tired! Thursday we did some car cleaning and then started our walking day teaching a member about being more Christ like. ha At the end of the lesson we were asking her if she would say the closing prayer and she took her foot out of her shoe! And me and Nilssen just about whet boots up! her toe nails were sooooo long haha after that scary scene I just said the prayer and we bounced haha. After that we walked over to check up on a member and caught her smoking a cig ha she put that thing out so fast when she saw us haha. But we dont judge, she is still a awesome member. Then we went and got a drink at the local store and i got referred to ask Bradley Cooper agian. haha Then we taught some more of our Brazilian friends and called it a night. Friday we taught Diana the LOC and she fed us some way good food. And that night we went over too Gustavo's and Areudas place for dinner. It was way fun we had some way good Brazilian food and we brought some U.S.A swag and brought Root Beer Floats ha and Areunda isnt a fan of the pics of me and the elk I killed ha. But they they loved the root beer floats. Saturday was cool. We went down too the ocean on the dock i went fishing on and Luke Jenks was their clamming and showed us how it was done. He wants me to come back next year and do it with him. Everybody on the dock thought we were the FBI. haha Then after he wanted us to come too his house and we had a huge clam dinner it was way good. Then we taught a bunch of more people then ended the night Finishing up all the lesson's with Diana and she passed her interview too. So that lead us too Jesus day Sunday and Diana GOT DUNKED! ha She had a lot of family come too it was a good day. We went to her house after for pizza.  But that was the week. love you guys.  ohhh p.s on Monday we won the Softball tourney for all the missionaries in southern Jersey! GIT R DONE!

Letter 78

Fam!!

This week has been swagger! Monday we got to teach our Brazilian investigators english, that was fun. We hooked them up with some cookies and lemonade for our snackage and I hooked them up with some candy. But it went good, they are learning fast. We gave them a tour of the church after and they said they had a really good feeling being in their. JESUS!! HA But then Tuesday was Transfers, the morning started out going out to eat lunch before we left with a ysa kid named Alex. He took us too this ti place. The stuff I got was freaking SPICY! My eyes were all waterin up and all. But I made it so I'm good. But then we went to transfers and my new comp is ELDER KOREAN NILSSEN! He is one of my Koreans I had in my district a couple months ago! He is from St George. We get along just fine! But that was pretty much the whole day was getting stuff for the zone and driving home. Wed we went over to a place called Freehold where my homie G Elder Pelsue had his District meeting. He is in our ward with me so that's cool to see him again. But after district meeting we went out to eat and we have 2 brand new missionaries in the zone so I bought them both ice cream! I remember that day. Hated my life! ha But their good kids. After that we went back to our area and went and taught Diana. We taught her the plan of salvation. It went really good, she is getting baptized this coming Sunday. Thursday was fun, well except cleaning our crib but it looks MTV CRIB status now. But then we walked over and saw a member and taught her about Repentance, then we walked over to Ray and Shaneque's place and we taught them the Plan of salvation. We showed them these lil pics that help them see it visually and then I bought some chalk and we drew out the plan on the sidewalk in front of their apartment building. It was sweet! After that our ward mission leader took us out to eat at a dinner with his wife then we showed them our drawing after dinner, then we called it a night! Friday we were helping people move all morning and after we took a ysa girl who just moved here from England over to Corals house for lunch. It was fun me and Nilssen were talkin in our England accent! ha After that we went and taught Josephine the RC and after that we went and saw Jackie our investigator who was suppose to be baptized yesterday but her health is shutting down hard core. It was crazy though when we first got to the hospital we were waiting to ask the lady behind the desk where Jackie was and then this lady came in guns hot behind us and asked if they had a wheel chair for her husband because he was having a heart attack! So I ran out there with her and lifted her husband into the wheelchair. But after that we saw Jackie and got her back on baptism date for September. Oh the sweet thing was one of the nurses showed us this little refreshment room in the hospital and she said we can have whatever! Me and Nilssen about peed! There was apple juice and milk and all sorts of stuff.Sooooo we went too town and loaded Nilssens man purse up with juice and milk! ha Jesus took the wheel! But Saturday we just drove to Morristown for our meeting with Jones and President and his family. It was fun. Then we got home and met Diana's family that seems really interested then we had our meeting with Elder Pelsue and Nelson our District leaders. Sunday we had 4 investigators show up, so that was cool. After that we just planned our zone meeting and then had dinner at the Basset families house who recently moved here from Florida. They are a cool family. And one of the boys is a ginger so were homies haha. But that's my week people love you!

Elder Pelsue's letter this week is exciting......had to post it!!

So this week was crazy ! On Saturday Sunday and Monday I was saying good by to the people in my last ward. I am going to miss them but it will be alright because I will be able to see them later when I come back to Jersey :) but none of you guys are going to guess where I am at  now!!! I am in a town called long branch and my apartment is 5 blocks away from the beach aka the shore (Jersey people get mad when you call it the beach.) it is stinking awesome I love it. it is beautiful and fun we have a small part of hood in our area so I'm am really happy I have the best of both worlds hood and beach and there is also one hood that is right on the beach. its amazing and plus myBOYYYY ginger is my zone leader and is also in my ward again not my comp but in the ward. I'm super excited and my year mark is coming up fast. but out here by the shore bugs are a lot more common. and all I have heard about since I got here is bed bugs!!!! I am so paranoid about it I don't want bed bugs. So we are doing a lot of prevention. but my comp is really cool his name is Elder Camper and after this transfer he goes home. idk what it is but I keep killing missionaries (killing aka being with them their last transfer before they go home) but this is my 3rd one it is nuts but I am super excited to be here. It is fun and I love the beach. but there is something else bad about the beach in Jersey and that is that you have to pay to get on the beach from 6am-5pm and then after that it is free. jersey is only in it for the money its ridiculous. but you gotta love it.  Elder Pelsue

This week has been a crazy one again.  Monday we picked up some new investigators, Gustavo and Areunda, they are from Brazil and they are way cool. They don't speak much english but they have a cool story of how they came to the U.S and its kinda sad cause they are struggling. But don't worry the Jesus crew will come to the rescue. Tuesday we had the whole zone meet up so we can hear the dying testimonies of 3 missionaries in our zone. 1 of them is a sister that came out with me! crazy. But after that I had elder Anding with me on exchange. We had some fun, we taught Paul a RC and he is doing much better. Its good to see him more happy now. AFter paul we saw a couple other members and talked to them about the Temple then our next appointment juked us so we had a 10 min chill session on the Beach. We drew a big ol (mormon.org) in the sand, it was legit. But then we ended the night teaching Jonathan the guy we picked up last week. He enjoyed our lesson, it went good. then we ended the night eating the best Italian ice and ice cream ive ever had in my life. Wednesday not gonna lie dont really remember I don't have my planner soooooo were gonna skip that day and go too friday, thursday was just a bunch of cleaning and stuff. But on Friday we found 2 new investigators. One of them is named Diana, the missionaries in Florida called us and told us about her because she lived in our area. And these missionaries are in K loni's district so that was cool. But we went and taught her and she is solid. She excepted to be baptized right after our lesson. I dont know if its our looks or charm but we just have that effect on people haha. But after her we went and taught our swagger new investigators #3,4 its Ray and Shaneek, Ray is 9 and Shaneek 15 they are cool. We had a good little outside lesson about the Book of Mormon with them. Then for the crazy stories. Saturday was a complete Donkey show/ jerry springer show. We were alllll over the place. We went from being in our Jesus cloths to normal people cloths about 4 times. We helped a member move in the sisters area, and after that we went over to the England swag family, we ate lunch over there and then I received hard core revelation for what bike coral should buy because she just got her Motorcycle license and sure enough she bought it yesterday. Thank you Jesus! But then this is where it got sketchy. We got a call from a member who got REALLY bad Bed bugs! And we were the lucky ones who got to clean her house out! oh and by the way there is a chance we got bed bugs in our apartment cause i got the bites again! its flipping Irvington all over again! But after that we ended the night eating a big ol dinner at the Nuygen's family house then ended the night going over to the spanish elders area to do a baptism interview. The house we went too had soooo much alcohol alll over the kitchen table we were at. Then next thing you know we were all taking shots!.......HAHAHA JK JK.  But yesterday was cool, church went good there was a member from Minnesota their who is a Pilot so that was cool talking too him He might move here. But then the rest of the night was eating at a members house named the Neu's we had a fire and made smores for dessert it was legit! But that was my week people! love you guys
