Fam!

This week was a crazy one! E Reese had the flu so we were inside for a good 4 days. I have never watched so many Jesus movies in my life! Some I watched twice cause I didn't know what to do with myself. We were inside all day Tuesday and then on Wednesday Reese said he was feeling better and we had a meeting in Morristown so we headed down there and everything was all lolly pops and gummy bears until the end of our meeting and he rushed to the pot and yacked! Poor kid, so we headed home after taking some huntin pics with E Garfield. He reminds me a lot of Kelton. But then the rest of the night Reese got rest and I switched with some other missionaries to go out and teach for a bit. Thursday we were inside all day long again, and Friday I switched again with Elder Davis, so me and him went out and did some lawn care service for a member. Plus side is they fed us and I helped her make lunch. Then we came home and Reese was doing a lot better so we waited it out to see if he would yack again and if not we were back at it the next day. And sure enough he was fine Saturday. Saturday me and Reese drove allllll over the place trying people from the ward list that we didn't know. And it was just one of those days where nothing was going right then Mamma Keisha came to the Rescue who is a member, she called us and invited us over for dinner! We were flipping pumped! After dinner we gave her little boy a blessing cause he wasn't feeling to hot. Sunday I had to give a talk on member missionary work. The talk went awesome. I was still peeing my pants waiting for my turn but it went awesome! I even got emotional,,,sssshhhh don't tell!! Then the rest of the night was going to different appointments and figuring out our plans for Turkey day. Its gonna be fun! I'm gonna make Pistachio pie for these east coasters! Lets hope I don't mess this up!! love you all!

Familia!!
This week was another good one. Jesus took the wheel once again and we got fed like kings over here. Me and Reese have been teaching a lot and knockin doors tryin to find some more people to teach. We have ran into a few Jerry Springer dill weeds but its okay. We did see a guy the other day who was all decked out in camo cause he just got back from a deer hunt and i about peed when i saw him. So we went over and talked to him and tried to help him unload some hunting stuff out of his truck but he wasn’t about it. But he did give me his e mail and wants to go on a elk hunt in Utah. Looks like we need to open us up a guiding company. But Tuesday we had zone meeting and since i got released from that i was looking forward to just sittin back and chillin but i got a call Thursday and they wanted me and another missionary in the zone Elder Davis to give a training on Finding the One. ha I told them i was retired but i did it anyways. It was fun though it went good. We have been teaching the Collin fam the one with 5 girls, we have been having good lessons with them. There are a few issues were trying to help them with but hopefully the rest of the family will be getting baptized before i leave. One Friday i was on exchange with one of the ZL's elder Warnock, we had a fun time. We taught this Pilipino guy who is a member and we could barley understand him cause he has a heavy accent but we were laughing so hard in the lesson cause we literally could barley understand him so we just would keep sayin ummm ya for sure, like what i do when i cant hear you talking to me so i just agree! #deafginger! Anyway Saturday we drove to short hills for a meeting and a good ol game of ultimate Frisbee. I got to see the Nuzman family from Irvington and that was awesome to see them. But these people in Short Hills are not messing around when it comes to Frisbee, there was a few swagger catches made and slides and i ended up with a nice turf field burn on my knee. It was worth it though. But we also did some service for the lady we helped last week, and Sunday was a donkey show and a half. Reese woke up not feeling to hot, he had a fever so i gave him a Ibuprofen 800 to kill it down and he felt fine so we went too our meetings and then church started and he got up in the middle and ran to the bathroom and yacked. So i sent him home with another missionary cause we had to teach classes. So i got to help teach Gospel Principles and then i taught in Priesthood on Prayer. It went awesome. Then we ended the night teaching a lot of lessons and eating a lot! Thats my week people! Love you all!

Fam what up!

This week was another Jesus success, we did a lot of service this week for a older lady. We did yard work and I was the Mower guy. It was nice as usual getting out of the Jesus attire and mowin. So we helped her with that and we did a lot of teaching this week. Our donkey show story for the week was we went to give a blessing to a lady in a nursing home. And she was a wee bit on some drugs and would keep leaning forward without her knowing to the point where her face was about to hit her knees. Well she wanted a blessing so during the whole blessing she kept falling down closer and closer to her knees haha so we had to keep leaning farther and farther to keep our hands on her head haha Jerry Springer show times 4! But Elder Reese is doing awesome. He is learning fast. Its fun to see him grow everyday from building confidence in his teaching. We have been teaching a awesome family who the 2 daughters were baptized right before we got here and they were confirmed yesterday. They are funny, a single mom with 5 girls! can we say hello to the Esto!! haha But we went out huntin for Less actives with a member that grew up here. He is cool but he was a bit nervous walkin in the part of the hood we were in. ha I felt like I almost had to hold his hand and tell him Jesus will take the wheel! Oh and another cool thing is this week we went to go see this kid that just recently was baptized almost a year ago and when he walked out the door to welcome us in I thought he looked way familiar. And I introduced myself and he said ya I remember you, you interviewed me! And right when he said that it alllll came back to me. I interviewed him for his Baptism it was so cool to see him and teach him. But Yesterday was a good way to end our week we ended it by eating some killer burgers on top of dinner round 2! yeeehaw! Love you all!
