Letter 25 and New Address!!!!

What up fam!

 

I got transferred to Elizabeth NJ. It is only like 15 min from Irvington so that's cool. But its way different and a lot nicer and not as ghetto as Irvington. My new comp is E.Marshall he is from Salt Lake and he goes home in 5 weeks. Me and him get a long just fine. He looks like a complete Nerd but he is way cool. haha!! oh ya and I'm in a Walking area again. But this week was good! We have some legit Investigators. But our 2 that are doing good are Sara Lee and Hugo. Sara is 19 and she has a kid, she is Brazilian and Cuban, and Hugo is from Ecuador and he is in his 30's. But Sara has been doing good. We went over and taught her the other day about the Restoration and I was just telling her about how I come to know about the church and about my family and friends back home and she started to cry! ha I'm just slapping people with the spirit out her. But me and E. Marshall teach well with each other so that's a bonus. But that was the spiritual experience for the week and some funny stories about this place is there are Mexicans everywhere over here! around the corner from our house there are around 20 of them that sit on the corner and wait for people to come pick them up if they have work for them, or there just drunk ha! ha But the branch here is crazy to. There were seriously 15 people in church and about half were missionaries haha I had to say the opening prayer and bless the sacrament and teach a class which was jammed packed with a total of 1 girl haha that's it, me and my comp taught her with the sisters it was something else! But after church we went and took people the sacrament and we went over to this ladies house and she is in her 80's and a lil crazy. Well we got there and I was just chillin on the couch and she looked over at me and  she told me that she was going to spank my butt with a belt and then she stepped it up a bit and said she was going to pull my pants down and spank me hahaha but don't worry I didn't let her! But she was just teasin! And even though she wanted to spank me and since I'm a nice person.... I put tennis balls on her walker so she could cruise faster! yep I'm going to the top! But that's about it for the week. I'm lovin this place its going to be fun.............and there are some cute chick's here haha heyyyy ohh! :) I'm staying focused though don't worry!

What up fam!

This week was super busy, we pretty much went and visited all the members and investigators we could because i was getting transferred. But the highlights for the week was on Tuesday after District meeting we went to Applebee's with some of the other sisters for lunch. They are having the ALL YOU CAN EAT salad and soup FYI!.. ha yep, right up our ally! Me and Tongan set the new record there for 9 refills of salad and soup, the waitress was getting a little upset, haha i warned her though! haha. After that me and Tongan had a little adventure with our car. So we were headed to go see Esa, who i use to lift with, and i was driving and here in NJ there are a lot of huge speed bumps in the neighborhoods but all they have for a heads up are 3 white lines right in the middle of them to warn us ha! Well there was a Nissan in front of me and it started slowing down so i waited a sec and then i just figured he was pulling into the driveway..........i was wrong........ha so then i went around him and stepped on the gas and then this is where Tongan yelled SPEED BUMP! haha and then this is where we passed the black guy starring at us with is 6 year old starring at us to in the passenger seat and then me, Tongan and Team Chevy Malibu were in the air hahahaha it was legit! nothing bad happened though just laughed so hard i was crying! ha then the dude rolled up next to me at the next light and i rolled down my window and he said "thought i was slowin down for nothing huh"? and he laughed and drove off! Good times! But then on the spiritual note yesterday we went over to say goodbye to Nakeeya and Qiana who are 2 recent converts in the church to say goodbye. And there sister Keemi was there. I've met her once before and i just figured she was a member but she wasn't she is way cool, well she pretty much told us that she wants to be baptized and she knows all there needs to know in order to get baptized. We asked her the Baptismal questions and she passed and then we asked her who she wanted to baptize her and she said....."Ginger!" Seriously i almost cried... don't tell no one though! ha.....But i didn't!! But the dumb thing is i am leaving so i cant so Tongan is going to do it! Kind of upset about it but its alright ill move on! And other then that im upset im leaving this place, there is a lot of cool people i got close with here but its all good i got to go spread the word somewhere else in Snookiland! love you guys!

White People!! (this is what Rajeem says to us every time he see's us ha)

Hi fam!, this week was good we got 3 new investigators and there freaking legit! There names are Breezy, Hakeem aka Midget cause he is 5 foot and Keith who is a 6'11 skinny dude but he is cool. We met all of these guys through the less active Rajeem but they haven't really shown much interest till recently, But we called up Breezy on Wednesday and we went over to his house which is right by Rajeem's. When we got there he was wearing a shirt with a pic of a big ol blunt on it haha and he was with his other friends so we just started talking to them all. ha they have the hardest time paying attention they have the attention spand of a 2 year old but there freaking funny! When a black girl would walk by no matter what she looked like they would all stop and turn there heads and go " Daaang girl" haha yep just like the movies you see with all the black people in them. But we were sitting there teaching and these 2 little black kids were walking behind us and called one of breezy's friends over to ask if we were cops. ha he said no and came back over to the lesson. So right then we were talking about the Book of Mormon and right in the middle of it Breezy jump up and said "ohhh man did you see that papi got knocked out!" haha so what happened was those little black kids who were like 12 went over to this Mexican who lives next to Breezy and punched him in the face then ran! Breezy was laughing so hard and kept yelling "papi got knocked out" not gonna lie it was funny! But then the cops showed up but they didn't bug us. But after all of that we did have a good lesson and left them with a Book of Mormon and we had a return appointment with all three of them. But that was the scene of the week other then that we have a total of 11 investigators so were pretty busy! But that's about it for the week love you guys!  Quote of the week " Papi got knocked out" hahaha

Letter 22 !!!!!

Mi Familia......some Spanish for ya...your welcome!

This week was good. The 4th was not the same not gonna lie. I missed going up the mountain and being with the fam but we made sure we had fun here in Snookivile. We got off duty at 5 so we could go have fun. We first went and ate dinner at a diner up the street, the diners are way good out here, but for desert we decided a good ol game of WATER PONG would be good hahaha. Yep got us a game of water pong going and we even had our Red solo cups haha it was pretty fun i only lost once :)..haha i don't know how i got good at it but it was fun.:) After, we went and watched Fireworks which were pretty good not gonna lie they just might of beat Cedar's. But that was our 4th. But this week as for teaching was alright we went to a lot of parties and got a lot of food which is nice! We didn't get to see a lot of our investigators cause of the holiday but we did our best. On Sunday things got pretty fun when me and Tongan arrived for our meeting with the Bishop the crazy homeless lady was out side and when we pulled up all the doors were locked so we had to walk around and she got all mad cause she thought we were playing games with her so she got all mad and yelled at us so when me and Tongan got in we went over to open the door for her and Tongan had a little chat with her about not swearing and to apologize to us then i told her that she better not take a shower in the bathroom again. haha But then while walking in the bishop and Bro Nuzman were waiting in the Hall and told her to leave because i guess last Sunday she yelled at the bishop. So when they told her to leave she wouldn't so we had to call the cops and this is where it got good. When the cops came she tried to lie her way out of it and she told the cops that we stole 100 dollars from her and that me and Elder Makai were walking around on the 4th with shirts that said and i quote "we got money and we hate you" hahahhahaha lol i was dying! Crazy lady! But then after that church was good me and Elder Makai went over to a members house and she had a friend over and she wants to learn more so we got another investigator. Were at 7 i think. But that's about it. Love you guys....And remember!...........GO TO CHURCH YOU SINNERS! HA
