Letter 67

Fam!

This is gonna be a quick one I gotta go teach a Chocolate man here in 20 min. This week went good. A highlight for Tuesday was Elder Winfield almost killed us due to him looking at a attractive daughter of god off the side of the road and almost rear ending the car a head of us. But he stopped just in time. I was pretty funny though. Wednesday was real cool. We went over and taught this less active in the hood of Trenton. And his old lady in the back ground was singing some African music and she was SOO LOUD My def butt couldn't hear a thing this man was trying to tell us. So I sat there and put a smile on my face then I gave up and went and sat right next to him so I could be on the same page as everyone else. ha! After that lesson we went over to a new investigator we got, her name is Jackie.When we first got in the house things were intense, she had some drama I guess with Elder Winfield of something he didn't do, so at first things were pretty awkward! But I calmed her down and we had a really good lesson with her and this crazy old lady that she watches. Jackie was crying about lots of hard times she has been through but you could tell when we testified to her that god loved her and has a plan for her it helped her a lot. Then out in left field you had the grandma lady come in and say. " if you bend down and touch your toes, I'll show you where the wild goose goes!" haha. She was legit! Thursday was a bummer. We didn't get to teach anyone it was a slow day. But on the crazy side we were knocking on some apartments by our place, and this lady answered and said she was raised Mormon, and grew up in St George and how she just got back from there this last weekend. And she went to Parowan high School and knows some of the Robinson's. Crazy. Friday was pretty slow, we just went and saw some less active and then had dinner at a Recent Converts place. She is awesome. Saturday morning started off playing basketball, and then we went over to the families place who use to live in Cedar and helped them clean there garage and then went over to a Parade that there kid was in, I yelled Mormon swag out to him when he passed us haha his friends enjoyed that. I scored on a good hand full of candy too!  After that we went and taught our new investigator Agatha who has the 8 kids. And we taught her the Restoration and it went good. She is excepted to be baptized and her kids too. So lets hope that goes down. Then we went and knocked some doors and ended the night at a less actives graduation party. And it was alllll chocolate peeps and us 2 white boys. ha I felt a little weird. But the food was good. And we did make some good contacts with some of the people there that want to learn more. Sunday was awesome. Except for church, the talks were great and all but the A/C wasn't working so this ginger was melting in that place. I had to fan myself with a big ol coupon book the whole time. Oh and we got to teach these 2 little primary kids, we taught them Feelings. So we did a lot of smiling frowning and then gave candy out cause that always makes them happy. Then ended with singing The Snowman song and popcorn popping haha After Church we went over to the Arigondy's place. And She is from Manchester England and has a accent like Aunt Barbra and all of them, it was awesome. And he is from Ecuador. Some couple huh. They are cool though. Now Monday was swagger. We woke up at the bum crack of dawn and went fishing and we got some big ol Bass. And then had a ward picnic and hung out for the rest of the night. That was my week folks. Love you guys

Letter 66

Fam!

My bad on not e-mailing yesterday I got caught up in fishing and then Tongan came over and hung out with us so we were partyin it up! ha But I got Transferred to Princeton/Trenton driving, this is Elder Davenports area he was just in. My new comp is Elder Winfield, he looks like a nerd but is freaking hilarious! we get a long just fine. So Tuesday I got moved down here and we met the bishop and he actually lived in Vegas, so that was cool. Then we went and met these Catholic friends of D ports and Winfeild and they are a way cool family! She is gonna be my mission mom I can already tell, she loves to feed the missionaries soooo BOO YAW!  Wednesday we had District meeting and not gonna lie it was weird not being the one teaching but its kinda nice too. After we went and knocked some doors and had one guy come out of his house, looks at us and told us to go F OFF! ha Somebody must of peed in his cheerios that morning!! But we did find some cool potentials. Then we went and taught a less active DEDE, I met her boy friend and he lived in Irvington right down the street from my old house there so that was fun talking to him. After that lesson we went over to Sis Thompson who just got baptized not too long ago and she fed us, she is a way nice lady, she fed me and even gave me a ice pack too put on my ankle cause it was all sorts of swollen. ha Thursday was our walking day and my crippled butt hobbled 3 miles too a appointment and he wasn't even home, so we went over to some members who use to live in Cedar the Fulks was their name and they gave us a ride home. Friday was fun, we went down too the hood in Trenton, I miss being in the hood! But we went and saw a member named Darlington who was shot in the leg about 2 months ago. He is a cool guy, we taught him on prayer. After that we went and tried some other investigators and we went down in the heart of the hood, and there was a bunch of these kids playing football in the street. So I wanted to hop in so I yelled at them HIKE! And you should of seen their faces haha so the one kid gave me the ball and he ran and I tossed him a beauty right into his arms. All the kids were like "wow he is good" I told them white boy can throw and I played on the NFL they were pooping their pants it was funny! Then we went over and saw a less active who loves too shoot bows. So me and him are going to get along just fine. Saturday morning we had basketball at the church, and after a member named Bro Cuff took us too the Princeton University where he is a teacher and took us to the buffet food court there! That place is way nice! The girls are cute too! haha But then he gave us a tour,that place is pretty sweet! But then we had interviews with President Jeppson. Me and P Jepps had a good talk. I'm gonna miss him when he leaves next month. After we went back down into the hood and taught some less actives, we picked up a new investigator who is friends with a member. She is 34 years old and has 8 kids and 1 on the way. So were gonna have to get a freaking school bus to bring her fam too church! One of the less actives is named Donte and he has a little brother who is 2 and is the funniest little chocolate kid I've ever seen. he was fighting with Winfield and messing him up! He would punch him in the face and jump all over the place, ha it was funny stuff. Sunday was crazy. There are 3 wards going too the same building so lots of people all over! The ward I'm in seems okay. kind of pride full sacks but I'm not judging yet. That was my week fam Love ya!

Letter 65

Fam!

 

Alright here is my week. Monday we went fishing in the morning and didn't catch jack!! And that night we finished it off at the Ashdown house for Family home Evening and a big ol Nerf gun war broke out! ha it was pretty wild! Missionaries won for sure! Tuesday we had Zone Conference, we learned about the Atonement and had lunch. Then after we had a game in the gym and it got a bit wild. The game was whoever didn't get a bouncy fall after they are thrown up in the air is out of the game. Well me and Jones went for the same one and it ended with me throwing him into the wall and then him getting away and me falling on my back. yep I lost! Then after conference we went up to a place called West Milford and taught some investigators and we put a baptism date for Mothers day. It was pretty swagger! Wednesday we had district meeting and I talked about doing service for people and how it will help us #1 get out of the Jesus cloths and #2 help people understand how we represent Jesus! it went really good. After we went over to our investigators house, her uncle and cousin past away just a few hours apart a few days ago so she needed a pick me up. So we went over and taught the Plan of Salvation to her. And it went pretty good. She is like dory off Nemo so she See's something shiny and she is gone!! haha It went good though. Thursday we went and taught a less active and then Frank our investigator. And ended the night at a members for dinner. Nothin too big. Friday was crazy though. Started off at 10 a.m almost getting pulled over by the PO PO's and I'll tell you that one when I get home haha it wasn't nothing bad though so don't worry. Then we got to our investigators house at 10:30 and we taught her the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We tried to put her on date for baptism but she wants to come to church first. After we got juked by everyone else so for our lunch hour we went and got some sandwiches at the local 7 eleven and fished for a bit at this little pond and Pelsue got a Pike! I was Pissed! idk what it is, but I got a hit at this spot then nothing for a while then he went over and caught one! What a Jerrry! But after lunch we went over and taught Bill, and he is doing good still just working on his testimony. Then we went over to Diana's at GST and taught her about Trials. She still doest understand why we have them. But we just bore our Testimonies to her and that was about it. Then for dinner we went over too the stokers for a BBQ! It was legit! Saturday I had meetings in the morning then we came home for lunch. Then we headed too Sister Blacks place, and we taught her on the Atonement, then after we taught we went to DQ and bought her a blizzard just cause were awesome like that! then we went over to the Grooms families house and me and Pelsue mowed there lawn in our Jesus cloths haha we do work! And then we shared a short message with them, then we headed over to the Allen family's place and we were a bit early so we knocked some doors. And we talked too this one guy we was sitting in his car with his kids who were asleep. ha so we taught him in our whisper voices and he took a Book of Mormon it went good. Then we had another BBQ at the Allens and we had steak and it was soooooooooo good! I ate soo much. And after we finished the night at Basketball. Yesterday was a good day. We had Church and after we had dinner at the stake presidents house President Jensen. And his wife can cook! we had Burgers and all sorts of other good stuff. Then after dinner we were all talking and they have 4 girls all in there teens and they are crazy! They were all laughing so hard the oldest was drinking water and a joke was told and she sprayed water all over her dad and sister hahahaha I was crying I was laughing so hard. haha Family is awesome! Then we taught the Gospel with them and I did my trick for it and they enjoyed it. Then after that we went over to a members B day party. Her name is Debbie and she is a little slow but a awesome girl. I gave her a Squirt gun that I had in the car cause its all I could find haha she liked it though. But they fed us even more food over their and then that was our night. But that's all she wrote for this week. love you guys. I'll be skyping around 4 Utah time on Sunday.
