Yo YO YO!

What up fam, this week was another good one. Me and Elder Reese have been preachin and teachin and servin all these snookivile villains! Theres a lil ginger rap for you. But this week we tried a lot of less actives. On Tuesday we spent a good 3 hours knocking doors of less actives and at the last one of the night the lady came to the door and Said "elder's hi!" flipping love it when that happens. She invited us in and invited us back on Friday for dinner! Wednesday I another missionary with me named Elder Class. He is a tall skinny ginger. But we got a lot accomplished. We went and had a good lesson with a less active member. And after we went over and I bought a bunch of smoothie stuff for a single mom and her 3 girls for a smoothie party. And this flipping ginger forgot the milk at home and they had none so a lil jersey water helped thin them out. ha! After that we had dinner at mama Keisha's place, and you already know I brought the fry sauce over there. They LOVED it! We decided I'm going to be their dealer so I got myself a business I need to start when I get home. Thursday was a day full of service, we helped a member move and then unload her uhaul truck, then I went back and got my son Reese and we went and did some yard work. But we did get fed a way good dinner after. Friday we were inside most of the day but we did go to the St Josephs hospital and we got some info on the kids them for Christmas so were gonna get somethings set up to go help them. It was the saddest thing I've seen. Little kids watching sponge bob with a teddy bear in a hospital bed, it was sad. Maybe I'll just dress up in a big ol purple Dino suit aka Barney and come in guns hot, that will make there day! haha Then we ended that night eating El Salvadorian food. Saturday we went over to another less active and had a lesson with her and her kids, at the end of the lesson we helped decorate there christmas tree with her kids so that was fun. Sunday we had our normal meetings and then me and Reese's puff got to decorate and set up the church X-mas Tree. Then we ended our week with the Christmas devotional. It was awesome! That was my week people. Tomorrow is transfers and im kickin the bucket here in patty! love you all!

Family!

This week was awesome, I'm gonna start on Tuesday night. Me and Reese were walking down in the middle of down town Paterson just contacting people, and we walked up on this group of 3 black guys and one was smoking and had a tear drop tat under his eye, right when he looked at me he looked really familiar, then he yells MY MAN!! gives me a big ol hug. His name is Breezy me and Tongan taught him and his crew down in Irvington. Reese thought we were getting jumped cause its not everyday you see a black guy with dreads and tats give the white boy a hug haha it was cool seeing him though. The other people he was with didn't know what the heck was going on haha. Wednesday we had the snow start falling and they grounded us from our cars. We had to go do service at a soup kitchen. So me and Reese walked the hour and a half walk in the snow. But the service was fun. Its a organization that just feeds the pour and homeless everyday. It's good food too so we just helped serve coffee haha go figure. But it was funny they would drink it like water and people would flip if you wouldn't give them more. It was crazy to see how many people came though. Then Turkey day was a awesome day!!! We started off by getting yolked in the morning and then headed off to the field to play our football session. The field we played on was piled up with snow and big puddles of water so it got intense. I was soaked by the end of the day but it was worth it ha. Then we came home and got ready and I finished up some Pistachio pies that I made and we went to our first place Mama Keisha's house. It was fun, we just ate a bunch of food and talked and chilled. Reese about passed out on the couch he had a bit of a food coma action going on. But then we went upstairs to another members place who is a bit less active. And it was a PARTY! jello shots and all. I only had 2....ha jk jk but they tried getting us to have eggnog and whiskey but we denied! Jesus first. But we ate our 3rd plate there and it was Spanish food. Pour Reese looked like he was gonna throw up he tackled about a quarter of the plate. ha Then we went over to the Valdez fams place for round 4. I had lamb tacos over there. they were way good. Then me and Sis Valdez were lookin up the Black Friday deals and she tried getting me a tablet for 30 bucks at wally world but no deal!! FLIP! Its all good though. But it was fun over there too. The food was way good, its cool to see how other people have thanksgiving and the food they have. But the rest of the week was going back over for pie at other houses and we did find us a cool new investigator named Quashima. She is a single mom of 2. We hooked her and one of her boys with coats that we found in our apartment cause they needed them. We had a good first lesson with her so we will see how it goes this week. Me and Reese are going around to the local hospitals and trying to get something set up where we can get presents and go hang out with the kids in there on Christmas. So that's what us white boys are gonna be doing. love you all!

Letter 93

Fam!

This week was a crazy one! E Reese had the flu so we were inside for a good 4 days. I have never watched so many Jesus movies in my life! Some I watched twice cause I didn't know what to do with myself. We were inside all day Tuesday and then on Wednesday Reese said he was feeling better and we had a meeting in Morristown so we headed down there and everything was all lolly pops and gummy bears until the end of our meeting and he rushed to the pot and yacked! Poor kid, so we headed home after taking some huntin pics with E Garfield. He reminds me a lot of Kelton. But then the rest of the night Reese got rest and I switched with some other missionaries to go out and teach for a bit. Thursday we were inside all day long again, and Friday I switched again with Elder Davis, so me and him went out and did some lawn care service for a member. Plus side is they fed us and I helped her make lunch. Then we came home and Reese was doing a lot better so we waited it out to see if he would yack again and if not we were back at it the next day. And sure enough he was fine Saturday. Saturday me and Reese drove allllll over the place trying people from the ward list that we didn't know. And it was just one of those days where nothing was going right then Mamma Keisha came to the Rescue who is a member, she called us and invited us over for dinner! We were flipping pumped! After dinner we gave her little boy a blessing cause he wasn't feeling to hot. Sunday I had to give a talk on member missionary work. The talk went awesome. I was still peeing my pants waiting for my turn but it went awesome! I even got emotional,,,sssshhhh don't tell!! Then the rest of the night was going to different appointments and figuring out our plans for Turkey day. Its gonna be fun! I'm gonna make Pistachio pie for these east coasters! Lets hope I don't mess this up!! love you all!
