Letter #76 "Jesus Take The Wheel!"

This week was good, Tuesday we went to Elder Andings district meeting which went good. Then we hammered down on some ci ci's pizza buffet. After That we taught a RC and then went and saw the Santiago family with a member to teach them about the Gospel. And we set up the daughter's boy friend on date for baptism on the 10th, that kid is way ready. Wed was cool, we went over and saw a Recent Convert that Ramos baptized that has been struggling really bad last couple weeks. But when we saw him he looked a lot different. He was a lot more happy. So we sat down and he said " remember that little twig of Faith, well it flipping worked!" haha it was cool to see how we helped him keep strong through his hard time. But then we went and saw some investigators by our house and for the first flipping 20 min they talked about a cat they had and told us all sorts of stories about it. haha Thursday was legit. We had a meeting with E Jones and E Nelson and after we went too Pizza hut for the Buffet! don't judge! And this lady paid for all of us! it was legit the bill was like 72 bucks and she picked it up for us and left so we didn't even know till we were leavin. Jesus took the wheel. That lady for sure bought some brownie points with the big man. But after that we had the whole donkey show thing happen at the Dentist, then we came home and then we went over and taught Mendez and Christina our investigators. And when we got their they said they had friends that live right next to them that are coming over because they want to learn more about us. So they came over and they are all from Brazil by the way. And Ramos speaks Portuguese so they were just going nuts speakin that language. I was just chillin. ha But they are all solid! Friday we went over to my chocolate mans house Mr Herbert. He is the 85 year old guy, his house is freaking hotter then the hubs of hell every time! ha its hard for me to focus in their from dying of heat. But our lesson went good with him, and after that we went over and taught another investigator and ended the night eating dinner with a family and then we went and taught Selso. He is the boy friend of the investigator that is solid. We were talking with him and we asked him last time we were their to pray about what we taught him to see if it was true. And so we were asking him how it went and he said " hey you know how you told me to pray, well i did it and i felt the TINGLY!" HAHA Jesus took the wheel round 2! so he is for sure getting baptized soon. Saturday we had interviews with our new Mish president and his wife. They are legit. Then our ward had a big ol Picnic which was legit. Lots of food and a lot of investigators showed up and we had a big ol basketball game.After all of that we went and helped a member move and then came home and changed and went and gave a blessing to a member that had a seizure. she is doing a lot better. And then we ended the night going down by the beach and teaching Luke Jenks a way cool LA who is the clamer. And he hooked us up with pizza. Sunday was good, we taught Priesthood and then the Sisters had a baptism. We sang Jesus take the wheel at the baptism........hahaha jk jk we sang i feel my saviors love. WE killed it. After we ate some good food, then we went and taught a couple lessons with investigators and members. That was about it people! love you

Letter 75

Waz up!

This week was legit! Monday was fishing on the ocean,and that night teaching some fun lessons. We taught a young couple that are way cool. Mendez and Christina. They are from Brazil, they are really prepared! Then after we went and taught a former investigator that the missionaries here use to teach. Her name is Dupe, she is way cool. But our lesson was on how Jesus is White not black hahaha! It was funny! Went good though! Tuesday we had a district meeting by Elder Nelson, and we played Ping Pong for some role plays. Me and Ramos wrecked it! CANT TOUCH THIS!! After D meeting we went and ate sushi which was pretty good. Then it started raining like crazy! But that didn't stop us. We went and saw some investigators and Josephine the Recent Convert. And the England swag family. Wednesday I went on exchange in Mexican vile with Elder Nelson one of our district leaders in the zone. We had fun, he must know me too well already cause he packed up some tuna sandwiches for us for when we needed snack time haha. But I mainly just sat there in the lessons but I did read a few things in Spanish in the scriptures, I told all the people we were teaching they couldn't make fun of me when I read. But we taught a lot and had a good time it was fun. Thursday was busy. It was our walking day but we got rides for the whole day so that was nice. We went over to the Santiago families house who are on date to get dunked next month. Bro Connor came with us to teach them. We taught the Plan of Salvation. The daughter had her Hubby Lubby boy friend over and he sat in too. After Bro Connor hooked us up with Some Burger King which was swagger! Then we went over and taught Mendez and Christina again. After we taught them we were outside waiting for another member to pick us up and this crazy black guy who was in the navy and marines pulled up and said "lets talk about god" haha it was kinda creepy. But we went and talked to him and he was nuts. Something was wrong with him but we weren't sure what it was. So I sat in his nice Chevy and started talking to him and he pulled a bottle of Vodka out from behind my seat and started chuggin away haha. Sooo then we found out why he was being crazy! Then he lit up a cigarette and started puffin away and then our member came to our rescue and we left. ha we went and gave a blessing then on our way back we listened to his cute little baby boy scream at the top of his lungs the whole way home. Good thing Ramos was in the back with him haha.... But now for the moment we HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR. Friday ELDER JONES CAME ON EXCHANGE WITH US!! Best day of my flipping life! We had so much fun, we went and ate some Applebees and went and taught a bunch of people. It was kind of weird teaching with my boy from CC but it was cool. We taught this one old man in the hospital and he loved talking about his time in Vegas, me and Jones were dying! Then we ended the night talking about hunting and alll that good stuff till 1 am. It was fun though. Then you already know we got our swole on at 6:30 a.m! But then we went to our Meeting with the ward mission leader and took Jones back with his comp! it was a depressing time for the both of us but we will do it again. Jones is an awesome teacher, its crazy he is almost done.. After that I went and got my teeth checked and I got 4 cavities :/ whoops! ha so I'll be getting my grill fixed this week. Then we had a interesting rest of the day with trying our new Contacting technique with setting up a Mormon swag stand on the beach. haha it didn't work very well. There was NO ONE on the beach, literally 15 peeps at the max. But I did give a bunch of stuff to this nice black lady and her family. Then a member showed up out of no where and hooked us up with watermelon! Then we ended the night eating dinner at the members house with the big ol birds. And right when we sat down to eat I had the bird on my shoulder and it was acting funny and kept getting off my should then back on then BAM out of no where it took a big ol dump right next too my plate of food! ha Jesus took the wheel on that one almost ruined my pork chop! I would of been pissed! Then yesterday was just as busy, we gave 2 blessings right after church. The first one we gave was to a investigator of the sisters who O.D on some crazy drug that their not sure was it is. Then we finished the night eating dinner with some members and going to visit less actives! Good week love you guys!

Letter # 74, So much in this post!!! AWESOME TIMES!!!

Fam!

This week was a busy one! We will start on Tuesday. The day started off with me drinking enough pre-workout to put down a elephant and ended up feeling like i could run a marathon for 8 hours but its okay i got over it. But we had our Zone Training, which is me and Ramos gave a training in front of our zone. It went real good. After we spent the rest of the day teaching as usual. We did go teach this less active guy who has some freakin crazy stories, he wouldn't shut his hole either, and these stories were a bit too much! ha But after we soaked all that stuff in; we headed home. Wed was awesome. First crazy thing which happened was we went over to some investigators house. And they invited us right in, when we walked into the living room they had a Porno going on the t.v and pics of naked chicas EVERYWHERE! haha it was hard to focus! ha But after them we went over to try some people the sisters taught and we ran into this girl named Heather, and she asked us a few questions and then we ended up sitting down and teaching her. i sat next too her and i could see the bruise marks from her shoving needles into her arm and the rubber band that rapped around it. Chick was on some hard core drugs! She was nice though. Were gonna see her again this week. After that we visited a investigator who got put in the hospital. We had a good lesson with her about her life and baptism. She set herself up to get dunked next month. Then the rest of the night included Elder Ramos crazy driving skills and him getting called a A-hole and flipped off due too it! haha I laughed pretty hard! Thursday we went over and taught this way cool member who is less active. His name is Luke. He is a clamor, his wife is from Brazil and they ended up being separated for 6 years because she could get back into the US. Its a crazy story. But he is way nice. He hooked us up with a cool spot on a big private dock on the ocean too fish. Friday was fun, we had a meeting with the new mission president and his family. Before it started we had a breakfast party with Elder Jones and E Neilson. It was fun. it even got a little wild and we found a bottle of sparkling cyder and started poppin bottles! ha After the meeting we went out and taught a few investigators and then had dinner with a family named the Evensons. They are way cool. They are a younger couple and he is some kind of cop. And he just got into golf. And he wanted to take me out and have me teach him a bit. I said i was DOWN! Saturday was way busy. we were teaching left and right. we started off teaching a member who just complains every time we go over. He just likes to vent. Then we the guy with all the stories again and then had some good dinner and the ladies house with the huge birds. I guess on of them almost bit her finger off last week and she had to go to the hospital. Sooooooooo i didn't hold any of them this time haha. After that we went over to where the druggies live. And taught a guy named George who was really upset. His wife just got put into the hospital about 30 min before we got their and he needed some uplifting so we helped him out. Yesterday was busy too. We taught the youth which is my favorite. And after we went over to a RC of Ramos and he was going through a way hard time. It was sad he has been fighting with his wife and daughter, and a whole bunch of other stuff. He started crying and stuff. So we read some scriptures with him and helped him out. But that was pretty much the week people. We taught 26 lessons this week. Crazy busy! But today i fished on the ocean. Didn't catch nothin but it was still fun. Love you guys!
